Application Modeling Service – Large

What you get:

To qualify as a large application model the following criteria must be met:

• Number of hosts in the model must be less than or equal to 24
• Number of software instances and/or components must be less than or equal to 30
• Number of custom TPL^* rules required must be less than or equal to five

You may choose one or any combination of the options listed below.

BMC will perform the following in one environment:

For each application model:

• Assist Customer to populate application model worksheet and modeling questionnaire
• Validate the data provided exists in BMC Helix Discovery
• Configure draft application model using data provided
• Present visualization and report for draft application model
• Adjust application model based on Customer’s feedback
• Publish application model
• Prepare Construction Document
• Export Application Model Report

Customer will be responsible for:

• Completing the application model worksheet and modeling questionnaire
• Reviewing draft application model in a timely manner
• Providing access and privileges in BMC Helix Discovery environments
• Ensuring all components to be modeled have been successfully discovered

Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:

For each application model:

• Application Model Report
• Construction Document

Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed these Consulting Services when the in-scope Consulting Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been delivered to the Customer Project Manager.

Pre-requisites:

• All components to be used in the application model must exist in BMC Helix Discovery
• All components to be used in the model are being discovered successfully
• An application modeling strategy that follows Customer’s architecture principles and will enable the customer to implement application modeling in their enterprise.  If you need assistance developing your application modeling strategy, BMC can help.
